National Field Exposure Visit at Bangalore, Chennai and Puducherry

CSE, NFEV at Rainbow Drive, Bangalore- Wastewater management at Neighbourhood scale The “National Field Exposure Visit” has recently been conducted on 8th-11th December, 2016 as a follow up to the second handholding training programme. The exposure visit is part of a five stage handholding process for the preparation of CSPs for select Ganga basin cities.

 Why this guidance on parking policy?
After Delhi implemented its first generation air pollution control measures during the early part of the last decade, there was an improvement in air quality. But this gain in air quality was soon lost. While improvement of technology remained an unfinished agenda, failure to address the explosive increase in the number of vehicles threatened to undo the small increment in air quality.
