Dr. Roxy Mathew Koll
Dr. Roxy Mathew Koll works as a Climate Scientist at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology. He has been leading extensive research on ocean-atmosphere interactions in the Indian Ocean, and its interaction with the monsoon and marine ecosystem. He has played a leading role in developing the first Indian Climate Model – the IITM Earth System Model.
Professor Emmmanuel Olukayode Oladipo
Professor Emmmanuel Olukayode Oladipo is currently with the Department of Geography, University of Lagos, as an Adjunct Professor to lead research and advisory services Environment and Climate Change. He has been leading the Nigerian delegation on adaptation to the COPs since 2009. He has also extensively worked with UN system in various capacities.
Dr Rosa T Perez
Dr. Rosa T. Perez has more than 30 years operational and research experience on weather and climate hazards, nearly 20 years on climate change and disaster risk reduction. Dr. Perez is one of the pioneers in climate change activities and research in the Philippines and SE Asia Region, using disaster risk reduction as one of the adaptation strategies at the community level.
Dr Youba Sokona
Dr SOKONA works at the South Centre (an Intergovernmental Organization of Developing Countries) as a Special Advisor on Sustainable Development. He has served in various advisory capacities to African governments. He just has been elected as a Vice-Chair of the IPCC for the cycle of sixth Assessment Report of the Panel.
Dr Lavanya Rajamani
Lavanya Rajamani is professor at Centre for Policy Research, where she researches legal issues relating to the environment (in particular climate change), international law, and human rights. She has authored several books on international environmental law and has written reports and working papers for organisations including the International Law Association, the World Bank, and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Mr Markus Wypior
Mr. Wypior is the Deputy Director of the Indo-German Energy Programme (IGEN) and heads the IGEN Green Energy Corridor Project on large scale grid integration of renewable energy. He has been working in various industrial and development co-operation projects in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Asia and South East Asia.
Dr Maricar Carmelita Alberto
Dr Maricar Carmelita Alberto is a senior scientist with the Crop & Environmental Sciences Division of the International Rice Research Institute, Philippines. She has also been involved with Inter-regional research program on methane emission from rice fields funded by the Global Environment Facility of the UNDP.
Dr Asaah Ndambi
Asaah Ndambi is a Livestock Scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and is part of the “Mazingira” (Environment) center. He is also networking across Africa on Manure Management strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Dr. Thusitha Sugathapala
Dr. Thusitha Sugathapala is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering of the University of Moratuwa; and a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Engineers in Sri Lanka. He served as the Director General of Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA), from 2011 to 2015.
Dr Satish B. Agnihotri
Dr. Satish B. Agnihotri is a career bureaucrat. He recently retired as Secretary (Coordination & Public Grievances), Cabinet Secretariat. Prior to this he was Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.
H. E. Mr. François Richier
Mr. François Richier was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to India on 17 October 2011. He presented his credentials to H.E. President P.D. Patil on 1 November 2011.
Mr. Ashok Lavasa,
Mr. Ashok Lavasa, Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change. Prior to taking charge as a secretary, some of the key positions held at the centre and state level include, secretary in ministry of civil aviation, ministry of power, and ministry of Home Affairs.
Mr Sikapale Chinzewe
Mr Chinzewe has spent the last two years serving in India and is currently Acting High Commissioner at the Zambia High Commission in New. Prior to his appointment in the foreign service he spent nearly two decades in the civil society both in Zambia and Malawi. He has worked with international non govermental organisations (INGO) which include World Vision,Tearfund and Habitat for Humanity.
