CEMS expert Committee Introductory Meeting

Background

CSE strongly believes that it is crucial to involve the key CEMS stakeholders in the process of implementation of CEMS in India. This is why, the CEMS expert committee has been set-up to support, provide feedback and guide on the initiative taken by CSE in this direction. The expert committee constitutes following members:

  2. D. Saha, Incharge & Head- Air Laboratory, CPCB

  3. Abhijit Pathak, Scientist B, Air Laboratory, CPCB

Conference on Continuous Emissions Monitoring System- International Experience

Roundtable on “Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) in India- challenges and way ahead”

A half day meet on “Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) in India- challenges and way ahead” was organized by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) on 24th February 2016. The meeting had participants from central pollution control board (CPCB), state pollution control boards (SPCBs) and other key stakeholders to discuss the challenges facing the CEMS implementation and suggestions to address these issues.

Workshop on Continuous Emission Monitoring System

A day long workshop on “Continuous Emission Monitoring System” was organized by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) on 21st July 2015 at CSE, Tughlakabad Institutional Area, New Delhi. This was the first attempt from CSE to understand and identify the issues in the newly introduced CEMS.
