Green CSE

CSE has excellent infrastructure that is appropriate to its needs and is used intensively and maintained very well. 

The buildings have environment friendly architecture that allows for maximum utilization of natural light and air keeping the use of artificial lighting minimal and need for air-conditioning limited to only the peak summer months.

Large windows that allow maximum amount of natural light to filter in and planted terraces on all the floors that keep the environs cool are hallmarks of this design. 

All around the buildings, lush gardens and a variety of exotic plants and trees give the complex an oasis like quality. 

However, in order to keep its ecological footprint small CSE has not kept its efforts, limited to only this. 

Over the years, a variety of environment friendly practices, like using solar energy, collection and conservation of rainwater, recycling wastewater and managing solid waste have been adopted. 

All these make CSE one of the greenest buildings in the city.
