The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), a non-governmental public research institution based in Delhi, needs a Programme Officer for high quality research, writing, networking and policy advocacy on wide range of issues related to Indian building sector like building regulations, resource efficiency, habitat design, passive design, affordable housing, life cycle assessment, building performance tracking and benchmarking, and green ratings among others.
This will also include capacity building of regulators and building professionals in building and habitat related knowledge and skills.

Down To Earth (DTE), launched by Centre for Science and Environment in 1992, has been the pioneer environmental magazine in India and continues to remain relevant even after 25 years. We get stories from the ground – research labs, hospitals, farms, forests, villages and even from other countries.

It aims to reduce the impact of industrial activity on the environment. It also aims to partner industrial sectors and embed sound environmental management principles into their production practices. Since its inception in 1997, GRP has rated- paper, automobile, chlor-alkali, cement, iron & steel and coal & lignite based power sector.

The Centre for Science and Environment, an established non-profit institution known for its rigorous and scientific policy research and advocacy on environmental issues is looking for a Senior Manager for its Fund raising Team.
