Under the Comprehensive Capacity Building Programme of JnNURM, CSE is undertaking capacity building programmes on sustainable water management including urban rainwater harvesting, decentralised wastewater treatment systems (including reuse/recycle), water efficiency and other methods of water conservations. The trainings and workshops are designed to cater the requirements of Municipal/Urban Development and Utilities functionaries, Urban Local bodies and city administration officials and regulators, etc.
The research as a part of Capacity Building activity at CSE includes documentation of the state of the art practices and evaluation of select projects demonstrating resource efficiency in urban areas, urban rain water harvesting and sustainable/decentralised wastewater treatment including water efficiency, conservation and reuse/recycle.
