Training Programme on Water Sensitive Design and Planning: Towards Sustainable Urban Development.

Date: 14 to 16 July, 2015

The Water Programme at Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), recently conducted a three day training programme on "Water Sensitive Design and Planning: Towards Sustainable Urban Development" on July 14-16, 2015. It was organized under the "Capacity Building of Urban Local Body" (CBULB) programme sponsored by the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India.

Workshops for Mainstreaming Rainwater Harvesting in Rwanda, 29 June - 1 July 2015 at Kigali, Rwanda

CSE Water team on invitation of Rwanda Natural Resources Authority and Rwanda Ministry of Infrastructure conducted a training, supported strategy workshop followed with roundtable meetings to develop a long term partnership.

Training programme on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment in Tanzania (June 1-4, 2015)

A four day training programme on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment was conducted by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM), Tanzania. There were 52 senior and mid level officials from the mining division of the ministry, who were trained during the programme.
