Announcements

  • Environmental management in industry today is not about lip-service. The green performance of companies mirrors their core functioning – be it cost consciousness, good corporate governance, organisational culture, and seriousness of the management to ‘walk the talk’ on operational efficiency and sustainable development.

  • Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), is an independent public interest research organization, which aims to increase public awareness on science, technology, environment and development. We’re glad to inform you that CSE has joined hands with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to build capacities of SPCBs on effective implementation of E-waste Rules.

CSE and GIZ are conducting a series of training programme on ‘Capacity building on E-waste and E-waste Rules’ on following dates:

  • Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is conducting the training and capacity building programmes for State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs) and Pollution Control Committees (PCCs).

CSE is organising four one week Advanced Training Programmes and two one month National Minimum Training Programmes during 2013-14 as per the collaboration with CPCB and MoEF.
