State Level Workshop on Sewage and Septage Management

The state level workshop aimed for sensitisation and knowledge enhancement of city officials on sewage and septage management was held dated August 10, 2016.

Thematic focus of the workshop included:

Regional Conclave cum Workshop on Excreta Management Mainstreaming SFD and Decentralised Wastewater Treatment in Urban Sanitation Programme

Venue: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Regional Conclave on Excreta Management - Mainstreaming Sewage and Septage Flow Diagrams (SFDs) was conducted on June 28, 2016 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. CSE, Water Programme through this sensitization workshop aimed to develop SFD for their cities that are intended to use it as a planning tool to improve or prepare the City Sanitation plan, or to be able to have suitable interventions to improve sanitation situation. .
