Environmental Compliance and Enforcement in India : Rapid Assessment

This report was prepared in the context of OECD Programme of Environmental Co-operation with Asia and the OECD work on environmental compliance and enforcement in non-member countries. 

Produced jointly with the Secretariat of the Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN), the report was presented at the AECEN annual forum at Hanoi, Vietnam in 2006.

    We are delighted to inform you that the training and capacity building programmes for State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs) and Pollution Control Committees (PCCs) done by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) have successfully completed two years.
