3rd Online Training Onsite and Offsite Management of Sewage for Citywide Sanitation

CSE Programme Support Unit to Department of Urban Development (Government of Uttar Pradesh) in collaboration with Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES) Lucknow is organizing an Online Training on ‘Onsite and Offsite Management of Sewage for Citywide Sanitation.

The training is aimed at supporting Uttar Pradesh State and Cities in their journey beyond ODF and preparing for ODF++ / Water+ and Swachh Survekshan 2020.

Objective: The training would sensitize Municipal Functionaries on the SBM Urban Advisory for Onsite and Offsite Sewage Management Practices and introduce the participants to City Sanitation Planning, Shit Flow Diagram tool, effective Faecal Sludge and Septage Management and Decentralized Waste Water Treatment Plants.  

Target Audience:

• Day-1 of the training is intended for all municipal functionaries including decision makers like Municipal Commissioner, Executive Officers etc.
• Day-2 of the training is intended for municipal functionaries, engineers working on-ground in implementing Citywide Sanitation.
