This sewage treatment plant has been designed for the wastewater coming from the apartments at HDIL Residency park which was built for the capacity of 5000 no. of persons. The treatment unit utilizes the space of road dividers without occupying any separate space for treatment facilities. The STP based on CAMUS-SBT gives the green grandeur view to the residency park as well ambience view to the apartment. The society is reusing water for flushing, gardening and cleaning of building basements. | |||||||||||||||||
The sewage from the building after preliminary screening gets collected to Raw Sewage Tank (RST) for collection and equalization. The raw water is been pumped to Bio Mound 1 (BM1) via the piping network in BM1 which enables equal distribution of sewage throughout the reactor surface area. The sewage distributed in BM1 gets trickled down by gravity in Collection Tank 1 (CT1). The water in the CT1 Tank is the treated water and also called as treated water tank. |

Since last 7 years plant is achieving sustained results in terms of removal efficiency; TSS( >85%), BOD(>85%) & COD (>85%). The treated water is odour and colour free. |
