• Decentralised Waste Water Treatment

Training programme on 'Sustainable Water Management' in Nepal, July 5-9,2012

   CSE is organising the following training programmes in partnership with CIUD, Nepal. Sustainable water management systems like harvesting rainwater and decentralised wastewater treatment including reuse and recycle can substantially increase the availability of water in areas where supply is scarce and has also become an economical and ecological benefit. The details of the programme (s) is as follows:

• Green Rating Project

Is the Indian automobile sector as environmentally conscious as best in the world?

NO! Automobile sector has fared badly. Under the project rating scale, we were to award five leaves award to the best company. But sadly no auto company deserved this honour. The best company got less than 45 per cent marks getting a mere three leaves award. But the sector as a whole got even lesser, scoring 31.4 per cent, deserving only two leaves award.
