CSE and CPWD launch a campaign for RWAs

CSE launched a campaign - 'My Ability for Sustainability' - to mark the World Environment Day at the National CPWD Academy in Ghaziabad. Around 100 participants from different RWAs and CPWD officers along with their families were convened in a daylong workshop and engaged on how to benchmark the performance of their housing societies on the themes - energy, water, waste, land and air. Several resource management practices at building and neighbourhood level were also discussed.

Additional Director General CPWD, Mr. M.K. Sharma and Chief Engineer (civil), Mr. Awadhesh Kumar chaired the event and expressed their commitment to upscale the campaign in CPWD officers' colonies and housing societies spread across the country.

A CSE publication titled 'Green Sense: Residential Campus Inventory' and a sustainability pyramid were also launched.
