New Delhi, India
As 2015 draws to a close, all eyes would be turned towards Paris and CoP21, where the world would be trying to negotiate a global agreement to stem the slide. What are the expectations from Paris? Where do the negotiations stand now? Have any latest scientific breakthroughs happened to throw more light on the subject?
Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), the New Delhi-based research and advocacy body, invites you to discuss these and other questions at its Seventh Annual Media Briefing on Climate Change.
This conference of mediapeople has been held every year in New Delhi since 2009, and has succeeded in bringing together journalists, reporters and editors on to one platform to understand climate change. This year’s briefing will have space for about 125 journalists. Top negotiators, NGO representatives and climate change experts will also be present as members of key panels to brief the journalists.
Who can apply
This briefing is open ONLY to journalists from Asia and Africa.
Travel and accommodation support
CSE will provide twin sharing accommodation support and reimburse to-and-fro air/train/bus fares to outstation participants.
How to apply / register
CSE’s decision on selection of participants will be final.
We look forward to hearing from you.
