CSE sets a pilot vermicomposting project at CPWD under Green Campus Initiative

As part of the Green Campus initiative, CSE has set up a pilot vermicomposting project at the National CPWD Academy on 25 November 2019. CSE invited Vermi-technology expert Dr. Adarsh Pal Vig from the Department of Botanical and Environmental Sciences at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar to deliver a seminar and set up the pilot.

With this, CSE not only was able to train all the engineers, architects and staff (gardeners, horticulture, landscaping, etc.) at the National CPWD Academy on the subject in-depth but also enabled cross-learning within its larger Green Campus network and the initiative. CSE is providing technical support to CPWD and Guru Nanak Dev University to green their respective campuses as part of MoUs.
