Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and the School of Sustainable Urbanisation and Air Pollution under the Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (AAETI) is pleased to invite you to an online course on Data Collection, Assessment and Planning for a Green Campus. The course will commence from December 14 and conclude on December 18, 2020, while taking about 2.5 hour sessions everyday.
This is an advanced course that will train campuses to build their own integrated resource management framework based on five themes - energy, land, water, air and waste. Campuses will be equipped to collect, organise qualitative and quantitative environmental data. This will allow campuses to monitor and track their environmental performance over time and identify intervention areas for improvement.
The course aligns with the efforts of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and requirements of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). As the course will enable campuses to capture their relative performance and build a growth curve, it will also guide them in effective communication for green rating and preparation of self-study reports.
