Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Wiki...   You may or may not be using these, but the age of new media has arrived. Organisations -  specially industries and government cannot afford to ignore "new media" and need to reinvent their information dissemination, communication and outreach strategy accordingly.

Hence, this three-days short-course and hands-on workshop aimed at empowering institutions for profit  is designed exclusively for professionals responsible for - business communication, corporate social responsibility (CSR), public relations, research, web and information professionals in public, private sector and in government organisations– working for profit and for the society too in the national interest.

It is structured to provide a practical approach to step into the world of new media. It will help the participants to understand the potential of new media tools and help them take a decision on adopting an appropriate information outreach and communication strategy at an individual and an organisational level.

The workshop will be conducted by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE),  a leading global think-tank with over 30 years of experience in research and communication. It has been developed on-the-basis of our three-decades of interactions and experiences of working with the industries, government and the development sector.

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded by Centre for Science and Environment on completion of the course.

  • Acquire skills and improve capacity to make the most of new media tools in advocacy and activism.

  • Deliver strategic plans to address real-world comunication challenges and engage the stakeholders

  • Learn about new media metrics and monitor the impact of communication strategy.

  • New media metrics > understanding web statistics, facebook/twitter statistics
