Field Visit to Jhansi FSTP (6 KLD)

CSE team has visited Jhansi on 09 November 2019. The prime objective of the visit was to facilitate the Intellecap in their visit to Jhansi. Further, the visit aimed towards understanding the functioning of Jhansi FSTP, its operational feasibility, barriers/challenges and scope of re-use of the end-products.

During the visit, team met Mr Arun Kumar Gupta, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Jhansi and Mr Mahesh Prasad, DPM to know the present status of FSSM implementation in the ULB. During the discussion, it came in knowledge that they are interested in co-composting as MSW site is nearby the FSTP and they are also planning to expand the capacity of the FSTP.

Lastly, after being briefed about CSE’s support to the State in FSSM, AMC has requested support from CSE in implementing scheduled desludging and IEC activities in Jhansi
