CSE’s Programme Support for FSSM in Uttar Pradesh- Consultative Meeting for Finalization of FSSM Policy in U.P.

A Consultative Meeting was held on 28.02.2019 jointly Chaired by Mr Anurag Yadav, State Mission Director AMRUT and Ms Kajal, Director Local Bodies. The Meeting was attended by 55 people and included other key state officials involved in SBM, SPMG, AMRUT, Officials from UP JAL Nigam as well as Municipal commissioners from around 15 ULBs.

CSE gave a presentation on the key issues and action plan proposed in the draft FSSM policy it had submitted to the State. Comments and suggestions were sought from the members present in the meeting.

Some of the suggestions included possible FSSM business models, incentives for behavioural change as well as streamlining the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders. Based on the suggestion, CSE agreed to provide a draft FSSM policy.
