The Centre for Science and Environment, an established non-profit institution known for its rigorous and scientific policy research and advocacy on environmental issues is looking for a Manager for selling its fortnightly magazine Down to Earth (DTE).
We are inviting candidates with hard core selling experience, with mainstream high circulation English magazines, to apply. Must be able to consistently meet and surpass targets. Creativity in developing new sales strategies is vital, besides interpersonal, written/verbal communication and computer skills.
This job requires a lot of travelling in base city as well as all over India and only candidates with relevant magazine selling experience need apply. Primary responsibility is that of increasing the magazine subscription base of the fortnightly by devising and personally implementing various promotional activities. One should be a go-getter, responsible for achieving pre-defined subscription sales targets besides working closely with the newsstand vendor base. Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
