Come winters, and the air pollution bug in our cities acquires gigantic proportions every year. Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) has been at the forefront of a campaign to sensitise citizens and lawmakers about this (see our backgrounder at http://www.downtoearth.org.in/) and how it impacts our health.
As part of this campaign, we are organising a two-day workshop on urban air quality challenges and strategies to reduce emissions from vehicles. Journalists from Delhi-NCR are welcome to attend. A draft agenda and a list of key expected participants are enclosed for your reference.
