From the unique fish mint of Manipur to the flavorful sangri of Rajasthan, every corner of our country boasts a treasure-trove of local and seasonal ingredients and recipes that define indigenous cuisines, cultures and traditions. These are more than just food—they’re integral to rituals, remedies and the rhythms of life.
CSE invites you to a novel celebration of this treasure-trove, through ‘My Food Story’. What do you have to do? Share your traditional culinary knowledge and skills through that ‘one’ outstanding recipe which may have been passed down in your families through generations.
Share the story as just that – a story – or as an essay or an article, behind that ‘one’ recipe and its star ingredient. Hold up to the world the history of the ingredient you have chosen, its significance, its role in your everyday life, and how it has perhaps helped you understand the environment and its linkages with the food we eat better
And since this is a contest after all, the best of these stories and the foods behind them will feature in a one-of-its-kind presentation at our annual GSP Carnival on February 4, 2025!
