AIM
To enhance
the knowledge of
government officials/
practitioners about concepts
and applicability of wateruse efficiency and
conservation measures
in urban India. |

The training will focus on providing conceptual understanding of the measures
to be adopted in order to mainstream water-use efficiency and conservation
at various scales of planning (city, neighbourhood and individual scale)
in urban areas. Along with this, the training will help in learning about
the tools, techniques and the applicability of initiating WEC practices.
This online training is a part of series of activities envisaged under a 3-year programme – ‘Capacity building initiative focusing on ‘Making Ganga basin cities water sensitive’. Under this initiative series of – webinars, workshops, trainings, field exposure visits, knowledge conclaves are planned, aimed at engaging 1,300+ state/ municipal functionaries and other sector players. The programme is supported by National Mission Clean Ganga and is part of the series of ongoing efforts by NMCG |
