Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is organising a three-day orientation programme on Air pollution and sustainable transportation strategies at New Delhi from February 26 – 28, 2013. This programme aims to deepen the understanding of issues of air pollution and its sources, air quality monitoring, management and governance, challenges and solutions for clean and safe vehicle technology and fuels, management of in-use vehicle fleet and transit traffic and mobility management strategies in order to meet the combined objectives of public health, energy security and climate mitigation.

Time: 10 am to 5.30 pm daily
Course fee: Rs. 8,000 per participant (50% discount for NGOs, academicians and students). The fee includes resource material, refreshments and lunch and transportation for field visits. The course fee does not include participants’ accommodation and travel. CSE can help book appropriate accommodation for the outstation participants close to the venue, the cost for which will be borne by the participants.
How to apply: The course fee should be paid in advance by demand draft/cheque in the name of Centre for Science and environment payable at New Delhi. Add Rs. 15 for all non-Delhi cheques.
