Online training programme on EV-Readiness

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to participate in its 15-day online training programme that will help you learn everything you need to know about EVs – from technology to recycling.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The self-paced online programme will have video lectures, presentations, tutorials and quizzes. The programme will also have three live interactive sessions for meeting the trainers and fellow participants. The programme has been designed in such a way that it can be completed at your own pace and on your own schedule.

The course is broken down into five modules:

• What you need to know – understanding the specifications of an electric vehicle - range, performance, durability, batteries and more
• Charging: What should you know about it - at home, public service stations and in battery swapping stations - technology, electricity requirements, and infrastructure preparedness
• Safety regulations are tighter today to prevent fire incidents -- what you should know about them?
• Demystifying total cost of ownership: Understanding the price and total cost of ownership vis a vis internal combustion technology
• Circular economy: What happens to the battery after it cannot be used any more in the vehicles -- finding out about its re-use, end-of-life disposal and recycling
