Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is organising a three-day orientation programme on Managing Urban Air Quality: Focus on Clean Vehicle Technology and Fuels at New Delhi from March 19 - 21, 2013. This programme represents our initiative to promote good regulatory practices in air quality management, clean vehicle technology, fuels and management of in-use vehicle fleet and mobility management. It aims to deepen the understanding of issues of challenges of air pollution and its sources, their relative contribution, mitigation strategies, air quality management and governance, challenges and solutions for clean and safe vehicle technology and fuels, management of in-use vehicle fleet and transit traffic in order to meet the combined objectives of public health, energy security, mobility management and climate mitigation.
