CSE conducts real time air pollution monitoring with some of the city’s most well known residents
Aim is to measure how polluted an air are we – each one of us, individually -- actually breathing daily, every hour and minute
Our findings will shock you
Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to a press conference where it will share the results of a unique air pollution monitoring exercise that it has been conducting in Delhi. With some of our best known residents, as well as some who are not so well known. Lawyers, civil society activists, doctors….
Air pollution monitoring is not something we are unfamiliar with. The Central Pollution Control Board regularly monitors the city’s ambient air – what we miss in this monitoring is the actual exposure at the individual level. How polluted an air are we breathing as we go about doing our daily chores.
The findings will stop you in your tracks. Please do come.
On this occasion, CSE will also release an Action Plan to combat this menace.
DATE: Thursday, December 11, 2014
