About CSE
CSE is a public interest research and advocacy organisation based in New Delhi. CSE researches into, lobbies for and communicates the urgency of development that is both sustainable and equitable.
Job profile:
The candidate is expected to lead the policy research, advocacy, communication and capacity building around the programme. The job will entail writing policy papers; communicating through write-ups and articles; and interacting with stakeholders – policy makers, regulators, media, industry, and NGOs – to push for change.
The research would include collection, analysis and synthesis of data/information from secondary and primary sources. It would also require coordination with CSE’s pollution monitoring laboratory (PML). Writing for Down To Earth, CSE’s fortnightly magazine, and attending to media queries would be integral to the communication involved in the job. The advocacy campaign will include building networks, making presentations and organizing and participating in meetings and conferences. The candidate should be open to travel within and outside India.
