RECYCLING PLASTICS
Recycling of plastics has an enormous potential to mitigate the consequences of plastic use and consumption. Using recycled plastics for downstream applications can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. A study estimates that we save approximately 3.8 barrels of petroleum by recycling a tonne of plastic waste.1
