Research Associate for Media Resource Centre

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate for its Media Resource Centre.

Centre for Science and Environment, a non-profit institution known for its rigorous and scientific policy research and advocacy on environmental issues, is looking for dynamic candidates with good liasoning capability (especially with various media houses) and event management skills. The desirable candidate must have excellent communication skills, both in written and spoken English.

 Job responsibilities :

• Writing, rewriting, editing and helping produce press notes and releases, media alerts etc.
• Managing the Centre’s social media outreach.
• Coordinating training programmes for journalists.
• Helping organize and conduct fellowships, press conferences, media seminars and workshops.
• Managing content on websites.
• Managing databases and daily media interactions.
• Networking with media houses, groups and individuals across India and the world.

Qualification and Experience

A graduate in any discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a media house or a PR firm. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
