Site Visit to Bakshi Ka Talaab as a part of 'Forum of Cities that manage Septage'

As a part of CSE's FSSM initiative in Uttar Pradesh, PSU is actively engaged in tracking and monitoring the progress of ULBs and identification of 'Pioneer Cities' or 'proactive cities' for developing a 'Forum of Cities that manage Septage'.

PSU team visited one such ULB i.e. BakshiKaTalaab (BKT) on 26/12/19 on the request of Executive Officer who visited the PSU- Knowledge Resource Centre earlier. A FSTP is proposed in BKT with support from WaterAid and Vigyaan Foundation.The purpose of the visit is to provide the inputs on the site proposed for FSTP and effective implementation of FSSM in the ULB.

The visit has also helped PSU in identifying ULB where CSE can support the local government in preparation of bye-laws & IEC programs and the same was conveyed to the Executive officer, BKT during the visit and EO has obliged and requested CSE to support them in aforementioned areas.
