Training-National: Sustainable Rural Sanitation Training Programme with special focus on solid and liquid waste management

The five day training programme on Toilet Technologies and Solid and Liquid Waste Management in Rural Areas has been conducted from January 15-19, 2019 at Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute, Alwar Rajasthan. The objective of this training programme was to brief and create an understanding of different toilet technologies and management issues of water and waste (solid and liquid) in rural areas. The participants represented 29 districts out of 33 districts of Rajasthan. They have been nominated by the Swachh Bharat Mission (G) Directorate, Government of Rajasthan and are involved in actual implementation of the projects on the ground. The state is focusing mainly on implementation of solid liquid waste management and retrofitting of wrong toilet designs.
