Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) invites you to a webinar on ‘Pathways for scale and speed in transformation in zero-emission vehicles: Opportunities and challenges’.
The webinar will focus on the opportunities and accelerators that are needed to be leveraged to build ambition and scale for time-bound transformation of the market. It will explore the emerging pathways and instruments of change to understand preparedness in India to make the big shift from the internal combustion engine to electric traction.
The global scale of change in major vehicle markets of the world signals the inevitability of this transformation. While electrification of the vehicle fleet opens up new opportunities to meet India’s decarbonisation and clean air goals, it also has enormous potential to attract new investments and retain a significant part of the value chain in the sector with economic spin-offs.
A better understanding, therefore, of the instruments of change – vehicle segment-wise incentives and targets, localisation, battery mission, charging infrastructure, financing etc -- is critical. This can also help policymakers understand where and how the quicker gains are possible
NOTE: This is a free webinar. All those who register will receive an automatic confirmation. We request you to register yourself at the earliest and reach out to us in case of any queries.
