CSE is organising the following training programmes in partnership with Guthi (www.guthi.net), Nepal. Sustainable water management systems like harvesting rainwater and decentralised wastewater treatment including reuse and recycle can substantially increase the availability of water in areas where supply is scarce and has also become an economical and ecological benefit. Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in collaboration with the Colombo based NGO, Lanka Rainwater Harvesting Forum (LRWHF) organised a four day training programme in Colombo on ‘Urban Rainwater Harvesting (URWH) and Decentralised Wastewater Treatment (DWWT) and Reuse’ for engineers, researchers and practitioners from various organisations in Sri Lanka, between December 11 to 14, 2012.

Training programme on Sustainable Water Management was organised by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in collaboration with the Water Aid in Bangladesh (WAB). The programme was held between September 23-27, 2012.
