Pollution board draws up plan to tackle oil spills

MUMBAI, October 5: Alarmed by the damage caused to environment due to oil spills, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has drafted an integrated local contingency plan (LCP), on the lines of National Oil Spill Disaster Contingency Plan (NOS-DCP), to tackle such incidents in future.
