Every day, new cases are being reported around the country where industry faces problems from regulators, local community and other stakeholders due to their inadequate environmental management practices. Such inadequacy not only brings bad name to the company but also causes financial losses to them. Moreover, such conflict occurs in spite of industries having all kinds of certification. To combat such situations, industry needs to work in harmony with different stakeholders ensuring that their operations do not have any deleterious effect both to the environment and community with state of the art environmental management practices.

CSE believes that certification alone does not ensure good environmental management; it has to be understood, shared and implemented on the ground.  The industries need to play an active role in managing sound environmental practices both inside and outside their facility and also needs to communicate the same to different stakeholders through regular interaction.

Keeping this in view, CSE is organizing a four day residential training programme on "Environmental Management in Industries" from November 12-15, 2019 at our training centre, Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (AAETI), Nimli, Alwar, Rajasthan. 

The course has been designed to cover various aspects of Environmental Management practices including resource conservation, monitoring and evaluation of pollution control equipments, self regulatory mechanism and stakeholder engagement.
