Training Programme on Industrial Pollution Management in Kolkata

Release of new inspection manual

Centre for Science and Environment is organizing a training programme on “Industrial Pollution Management- Compliance and Enforcement practices in Sweden”, in collaboration with West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) and Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA); for officials of different State Pollution Control Boards; from 24^th to 26^th April, 2018 at Kolkata, West Bengal.

The objective of the training programme is to understand the approach and course of action adopted by SEPA for safe guarding Environment. The training programme will consist of lectures from experts of SEPA on their experience in Environmental improvement strategies they have developed in last 40 years along with some lectures from Indian officials; including class exercises and study visit.
