Training Programme on “Understanding Environmental Management and strategies for addressing industrial air pollution”

The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB), is organizing a training program titled "Understanding Environmental Management and Strategies for Addressing Industrial Air Pollution." The aim of this training programme is to enhance the capacity of RSPCB officials by equipping them with effective tools and approaches for managing industrial air pollution. The programalso intends to provide knowledge and skills require to the officials for addressing environmental concerns and developing mitigation plans. This particular training is designed specifically for newly recruited RSPCB staff, the training offers a comprehensive understanding of current environmental challenges.

Outcome of the training Programme-

• Understanding of Environmental laws and regulatory strategies for better compliance & enforcement
• Increased knowledge on appropriate air pollution control devices for different types of industries and understanding how to evaluate its effectiveness
• Granting consent and noting drafting
• Understanding ambient and stack-based monitoring
• Inventorization and pollution load assessment of industrial emission sources
• Effective ways of waste management to increase circularity
• Best pollution control practices in medium and small-scale industries
