Webinar on stakeholder interaction for sharing action plans for air pollution abatement in industrial areas of Ghaziabad, Panipat and Sonepat on 25th, 26th and 28th August, 2020

CSE in its report on Assessment of Industrial air Pollution in Delhi NCR region detailed out the action plans for 7 districts in Delhi NCR under the guidance of EPCA, i.e. Sonipat, Panipat, Faridabad, Gurugram, Ghazibad, Alwar and Bhiwadi. 

The action plan for the industrial areas includes action points for improving the environment, development of the infrastructure, and overall management of the areas to curb the air pollution in the district.

The way forward now is to share these action plans with the State pollution control boards, District Industries centre, industrial associations, industrial development agencies and other relevant stakeholders. It is in this regard, that we plan to organize webinar meeting for stakeholder interaction session for the districts of Ghaziabad, Panipat and Sonipat on 25th , 26th and 28th August, 2020 respectively at 1500 hrs.  Meetings for discussion of action plans of other districts will be  conducted in  following month and will be updated here.
