CSE releases India’s first CEMS & CEQMS inspection manual to monitor air pollution
Pollution monitoring and control have always been a challenge in India, and one of the key loopholes has been a weak and lax monitoring and compliance enforcement mechanism.
In 2017, CSE had published a set of broad guidelines for installing and operating continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) in India. This year, we are following it up by releasing its Inspection Manual for CEMS and CEQMS (continuous effluent quality monitoring systems) implementation in India.
We invite you to the release of this manual – India’s first-of-its kind guidance report for efficient monitoring and compliance. The event is being conducted jointly by CSE and Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board (MPPCB).
