Workshop on “Remote Monitoring of On-Road Vehicle Emissions: Enabling Effective Implementation”

Centre for Science and Environment is organizing a half a day Workshop on “Remote Monitoring of On-Road Vehicle Emissions: Enabling Effective Implementation,” on August 23, 2024, from 2- 5 pm at Casuarina Hall, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The event will begin with lunch at 1 pm and the workshop at 2 pm.

The workshop aims to discuss pathways to advance on-road emissions monitoring and surveillance, sharing experiences from the pilot demonstration in Delhi and implementation in the city of Kolkata. Numerous cities have integrated remote sensing measurements into their clean air action plans to address their non-attainment status.

This stakeholder workshop will bring together the experts and the implementing agencies such as transport departments and pollution control boards in cities to understand the strategies for upgrading the on-road and onboard emissions measurement from vehicles.
