The case study showcases a project focusing the lake rejuvenation case with naturally treating the wastewater before it enters into the lake. The Decentralised wastewater treatment system (DWWTs) having a capacity to treat 1 MLD of wastewater is setup along the lake shoreline, treats the domestic wastewater, before it is allowed to enter the lake.
