The case study showcases the strategies developed under the countrywide programme to reduce non-revenue water. A nation-wide piping system is used for water conveyance and approximately 10–12 percent of the water is lost in distribution. Israel has forged the standard for wastewater recycling. Eighty per cent of its wastewater is treated and reused. The contents provided in this case study is based on secondary research from open sources mentioned in reference section and don't necessarily reflect those of Centre for Science and Environment.
