Review your CSP
Now that the CSP is drafted, it is important to remember that a CSP is indeed a “living document”.This document is a planning document with projections developed at a particular period of time. Hence, in order to keep the document updated, it is essential to revise data, issues and plans accordingly. There are various factors which trigger change in status over the years:
For instance, a city may change due to uncontrolled population/urban growth, which may lead to a dramatic increase in water demand, affecting the proposed projects planned for the water supply sector.
Hence, it is essential that the CSP is updated at a periodic basis (recommended every 5 years). |
